OTC CSR 2026: Charity Day

OTC CSR 2026: Charity Day – Spreading Kindness and Making a Difference in Our Community

At OTC, we believe that true success is not only measured by business growth, but also by the positive impact we create within our community. Continuing our long-standing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), OTC proudly carried out our CSR 2026 Charity Day, a meaningful initiative dedicated to spreading kindness, compassion, and support to those in need across Penang.

Building on the spirit of our previous CSR efforts, this year’s charity activity focused on engaging with welfare homes and care centres that support individuals with disabilities and the elderly. Through visits, donations, and personal interactions, our team aimed to bring joy, encouragement, and a sense of connection to the residents.

Charity Centres Visited During OTC CSR 2026

As part of our CSR 2026 initiative, the OTC team visited several charity centres across Penang:

Penang Handicapped Welfare Association
Located along Jalan Bukit Dumbar, this centre provides care and support for individuals with physical disabilities. Our team spent time interacting with the residents, sharing conversations, and delivering essential supplies to support their daily needs.

SIMA Handicapped Centre
Situated in Gelugor, SIMA Handicapped Centre focuses on empowering individuals with disabilities through care and engagement. The visit included interactive activities and friendly sessions that created moments of happiness and laughter for both residents and volunteers.

Persatuan Kebajikan Anak-Anak OKU Taman Island Penang
At this centre in Taman Island Glades, our volunteers contributed by providing necessities and spending quality time with the children. The experience reminded us of the importance of empathy, patience, and continuous support for children with special needs.

Penang Care Centre
Home to elderly residents, Penang Care Centre welcomed our team with warmth. We engaged in light activities, meaningful conversations, and companionship, ensuring the residents felt valued, heard, and appreciated.

Pusat Jagaan Rumah Orang Tua Sai Ram
Located in Bandar Baru Air Itam, this elderly care home focuses on providing comfort and care for senior citizens. Our visit was filled with smiles as we shared gifts, conversations, and moments that strengthened human connection.

Evershine Old Folks Home
Our final visit took place at Evershine Old Folks Home in George Town. The team spent quality time with residents, offering care packages and emotional support, reinforcing the importance of companionship and respect for the elderly.

Beyond Donations: Creating Meaningful Connections

OTC CSR 2026 was not solely about donations or material contributions. It was about presence, connection, and understanding. By engaging directly with residents and caretakers, our team gained deeper insight into the challenges faced by these communities and the importance of consistent support.

These experiences strengthened our belief that small acts of kindness can create a lasting impact. The smiles shared, stories exchanged, and moments spent together are reminders that compassion remains at the heart of everything we do.

Our Commitment to CSR

As we move forward, OTC remains committed to continuing our CSR initiatives and contributing positively to society. CSR 2026 reflects our dedication to building a caring, inclusive, and supportive community, while encouraging our team to grow not only professionally, but also personally.

We look forward to carrying this spirit of giving into the years ahead and continuing to make a difference—together.
