INTRODUCTION FOR UNDERSTANDING CHRA IMPLEMENTATION AT WORKPLACE

Understand on the requirement of how to manage chemical safely. Industrial Hygiene compliance with legal requirement posed by CHRA requirement is the most important strategy for a company to use and handle chemicals safely and without risks at workplace. The training approach would be on interpretation and understanding the CHRA and CEM report content, until the stage of implementation of action plans. It is also important that the participants learn regarding the report keeping

 

COURSE OBJECTIVES

  • To provide understanding on CHRA
  • To elaborate on how CHRA can be use as a tool to mitigate the chemical exposure
  • To provide an overview on how to control the chemical exposure.
  • To provide understanding on practical aspects of establishing and maintaining an effective CHRA implementation
  • To ensure participant understand on the requirement of how to manage chemical safely. Compliance with legal requirement posed by Occupational Safety & Health Act and Environment Quality Act, is the most important strategy for a company to use and handle chemicals safely and without risks at workplace. The participants will be explained on how to manage chemicals from the purchasing stage until disposal of chemicals. The training approach would be from the aspect of chemical documentation and chemical handling, until the stage of chemical emergency response. It is also important that the participants learn regarding the compliance strategy.
