Course Overview

IATF 16949:2016 Intensive Core Tools Training : This intensive training follows the AIAG reference manuals for SPC, MSA, FMEA, APQP, Control Plan (CP), and PPAP—collectively known as the automotive core tools. It is a short yet comprehensive program focused on the essential elements and practical application of these tools.

Participants will gain the necessary knowledge and skills to meet both IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements. The training also aims to equip internal auditors with the competencies required for effective internal auditing.

Each core tool will be linked to the relevant IATF 16949 clauses, helping participants clearly understand the expected outcomes and how each tool supports compliance and quality improvement

Course Objectives

  1. Understanding of automotive requirements for core tools.
  2. Gaining knowledges and skills for the automotive core tools.
  3. Identify the current gap with the core tools standards (if any)

In addition to the above, this training also aims to strengthen participants’ understanding of how each core tool contributes to overall quality management system performance. Participants will be guided to recognize common implementation gaps and practical challenges faced in real manufacturing environments.

  1. Able to explain on the automotive requirements for core tools
  2. Apply the automotive core tools correctly.
  3. Fulfilling IATF16949 and customer requirements.

Upon completion of this course, participants will also be able to interpret quality data, identify process variation, and take appropriate corrective and preventive actions based on core tool analysis. This will enable better decision-making in production, quality assurance, and engineering functions.
