COURSE OBJECTIVES
These objectives ensure participants gain practical skills and knowledge to effectively respond to fire emergencies
- Understand different types of fires class and appropriate extinguishing methods. Recognize the components of fire and methods for fire prevention.
- Identify various types of fire extinguishers and their specific uses. Demonstrate proper techniques for operating a fire extinguisher (PASS method).
- Learn the basic techniques for using firefighting equipment like hoses and nozzles. Practice basic fire suppression tactics.
- Understand the types of PPE used in firefighting and their purposes. Demonstrate correct use and maintenance of PPE.
- Develop a clear understanding of emergency evacuation plans and routes. Practice orderly and efficient evacuation procedures.
- Participate in a live fire drill to practice emergency response. Understand roles and responsibilities during a fire drill.
- Learn and follow safety protocols for safe evacuation and assembly. Identify and use emergency exits and assembly points effectively.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the fire drill through debriefing. Identify areas for improvement and refine emergency response strategies.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
On completion of the Course, participants will:
- Demonstrate the basic ability to maintain a state of readiness and respond to an emergency especially fire in the workplace.
- Recognize the importance of planning for and management of emergency response
- Recognize the importance of effective teamwork and communications when dealing with any emergency incidents.

THEORITICAL AND PRACTICAL SESSION
- The Client shall provide all the necessary training facilities and support inclusive of: Training room, LCD projector, Flip-chart & Whiteboard
- For Practical Session client to prepare
- Petrol = RM 25
- Diesel = RM 20
- 1 stick at least 5 feet long, to ignite fire and cotton rack.
- 1 – unit empty steel drum
- Baricade Tape or cone to isolate the area during practical assessment
- Proposed Participant attire – T-Shirt, tracksuit or which practicable for them.
