INTRODUCTION FOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING FOR NON -ELECTRICAL PERSONNEL

Most of the machine in manufacturing industry using electrical system to control and generates desire output based on production process. The Technician must have basic knowledge and understanding of electrical system to perform daily task assign by Supervisor or Manager. However, some of technicians came from mechanical or non- electrical engineering disciplines.

To ensure effectiveness of production output and minimize machine breakdown delay time, the technician must be able to assist senior technician or engineer by monitoring operation of electrical system. He/she will report to senior technician or engineer if machine in fault conditions and able to response the problems as” first line repair technician”. OTC Training Centre provide training module as Electrical for Non-Electrical Personnel Training by sharing practical session and technical skill with easy technique especially for Non Electrical Personnel.

Electrical for Non- Electrical Personnel Training will expose the participants on:

  • Introduction to Electrical basic principle
  • Introduction to Electrical system and wiring diagram
  • Introduction to Electrical component and basic function
  • Application of Digital Multi Meter and Test Pen
  • Safety precaution on electrical system
  • Generate basic electrical wiring on Parallel and Series Circuit
  • Perform voltage and current measurement
  • Testing and verify status of electrical components
