This 2 two-day seminar was created to bring students The course is thus beneficial to all electrical engineers who are responsible for the planning, design, construction operation and maintenance of commercial and industrial power systems, site engineers and design review/approving persons of small and large electrical substations and industrial plants.

This course provides the opportunity to learn about the general practices in earthing, the purpose and functions. Participants will be introduced types of Earths, types of Earthing Materials and Conductors.

 

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this program the participants will be able to:

  • Identify different electrical structures
  • Test and confirm serviceability of components
  • Comprehend the function of various components in electrical circuits
  • Basic understanding of electrical,1 (single)phase ,3 phase and DC power supply
  • Trouble shooting in electrical and wiring up a panel board
  • Understanding the basic principles & importance of earthing of electrical systems.
  • The function of power system earthing and the various options available.
  • How to test and maintain earth electrode & Earthing grid.
  • Understanding Earthing Installation and Maintenance.

 

METHODOLOGY

Our Trainers will be carrying out hands on practical the real life exposure the participants require. Each of the participants will be given a board and complete components and tools for all the practical part of the training including single phase , for direct on line and star delta with fan connection.
