INTRODUCTION FOR BEHAVIOR BASED SAFETY TRAINING
Without the right knowledge and system at the workplace, a worker’s ability to effectively perform his duties would be largely affected. To create and maintain a conducive working environment, it is important for employers to take the necessary steps to prevent any injuries to the workforce. Preventing any accident as a result of work should be a top priority for all staff at work. Your business operations depend on them.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
Successful completion of the program will enhance the skills of participants and enable them to :-
- Understand the legal requirement imposed by Department of Occupational of Safety and Health (DOSH)
- Consequences for not complying to Legal and Other Requirements
- Understanding the principle of Bahavior Based Safety (BBS)
- Implementation of Behavior Based Safety (BBS) program in anorganization
- To educate our workplace on an important of performing our task safely
- Able to indentify the root causes and to introduce an appropriate control measure to create safe and healthy working environment.
COURSE METHODOLOGY
This training, theory and workshop is aimed to be practical, participative and interactive. Real life examples, case studies and “HANDS ON” tips will be given to participants during the training. There will also be small group activities to foster better understanding of concepts and real life applications.
A group discussion will be conducted to enable participants to understand the process by the direct facilitation by the trainer.
