OVERVIEW

To provide hands-on fundamental knowledge and new skillsets to upskill participants on the interaction and convergence of AI and IOT (AIOT at work place to support their industries to embarked into digitalization applying one of the most important technology for Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) in operation, communication, and data management as well as recognizing smart solution requirements and possibilities for improving monitoring, maintenances, work efficiency, workflow and productivity thru AI integration.

Over the course of two days, this training program will cover the essential principles of data management and visualization, with a particular focus on IOT and AI ERP systems. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of IOT and AI and will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning with ERP sample data software, learning to integrate an IOT system to collect sensor data, process it using power software, and deliver the processed data to an IOT platform. In the final project, participants will work on integrating an AI-induced IOT gateway system and platform that is relevant to their industry, using Google Spreadsheets for data collection and storage, as well as data visualization and analytics.

LEARNING OBJECTIVE

The learning objectives for this training program are as follows:

  1. Gain a foundational understanding of IoT and its applications in data collection and exchange.
  2. Learn how to integrate IoT devices with Excel to collect real-time data for analysis and visualization.
  3. Understand how to analyze and interpret data from IoT devices using Excel’s data analysis tools.
  4. Learn how to create dynamic and interactive dashboards in Excel using data from IoT devices.
  5. Explore case studies and examples of how IoT data can be used to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality control, energy consumption, and building automation.
  6. Understand the basics of data visualization in Power BI and how it can be used to create real-time, interactive dashboards from IoT data.

To use IoT data in Excel for data visualization, you would first need to collect and store the data from your IoT devices using an appropriate IoT platform or application programming interface (API). You can then import the data into Excel and use its built-in data visualization tools, such as charts and graphs, to create interactive dashboards that allow users to explore and analyze the data in real-time. Additionally, Excel users can also integrate their data with other business systems and software, such as Power BI, to create even more advanced dashboards and reports.

LEARNING OUTCOME

By the end of the training, participants should be able to confidently create and manipulate large data sets, create custom charts and graphs, analyze data using advanced statistical functions and tools, automate repetitive tasks using macros, collaborate with others on Excel 365 workbooks, and have a basic understanding of Power Query and Dashboard Reporting & Visualisation.

WHO SHOULD  ATTEND

The target audience for the above training program would be professionals working in the manufacturing industry who are interested in learning how to collect, analyze, and visualize data from IoT and ERP sources. This would include individuals who work in manufacturing operations, supply chain management, quality control, logistics, and other related fields. It would also be suitable for data analysts and IT professionals who work with data in the manufacturing industry. The program would be designed to accommodate participants with a range of skill levels, from beginners to advanced users.

SAMPLE

ERP system for clothing manufacturing and cutting machines and sewing, you can extract data from the system and use Excel for data analysis and visualization. Here are some steps to get started:

  1. Identify the data that you need to extract from the ERP system, such as production data, inventory data, sales data, etc.
  2. Export the data from the ERP system into Excel. Most ERP systems allow you to export data in a standard format, such as CSV or Excel format.
  3. Clean and transform the data using Excel’s data cleansing and transformation tools. This includes removing duplicates, filtering, sorting, and converting data types.
  4. Analyze the data using Excel’s built-in data analysis tools, such as pivot tables, charts, and graphs. You can use these tools to identify trends, patterns, and outliers in the data.
  5. Create data visualizations using Excel’s chart and graphing tools. This includes creating bar charts, line charts, scatter plots, and more.
  6. Once you have created your data visualizations in Excel, you can use Power BI to create more advanced dashboards and visualizations. Power BI is a powerful business intelligence tool that allows you to create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations that can be shared with others.
