2023 – Certificate of Appreciation (HRD Corp)
OTC Training Centre Sdn Bhd proudly received this Certificate of Appreciation from HRD Corp in award and recognition of our active involvement in fostering human capital development initiatives throughout 2022 at the National Human Capital Conference & Exhibition (NHCCE). Distributed by HRD Corp to specifically Training Providers, Large Employers across the Manufacturing, Service and Mining & Quarrying Sectors and Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) employers.
Becoming an iconic event by the year of 2022, NHCCE was held in a much more grandiose backdrop by HRD Corp this year. NHCCE 2023 – Northern region, was organized at the 31 May to 1 June 2023 at the Setia SPICE Convention Centre, Bayan Lepas. HRD Corp considered the economic transformations undergone by Penang by the establishment of the Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone, making it their main reason to choose Penang the event venue.
Themed as ‘HR 5.0: Evolution in Human Resource Development’, HRD Corp took this opportunity to explain the impacts of the new industrial evolution to the human resource development as well as to appreciate the enterprises supporting them for the year. In the Appreciation Night that was held as the closing ceremony, awards were given out in the form of certificates to those with the most contribution in the field.
2022 – Human Resource Development Corporation Award – Training Provider
Introduced in 2001, the HRD Awards is the highest level of recognition for HR talents and industry players in the country. It is awarded by Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp) and endorsed by the Ministry of Human Resources to its registered employers, training providers and trainers who have been at the forefront of human capital innovation and transformation.
2022 marks the 20th year of this annual celebration of the crème de la crème in human capital development. We could not be prouder to share this historic occasion with some of Malaysia’s most prominent leaders and reputable organisations.
TO RECOGNISE OUTSTANDING TRAINING PROVIDERS AND TRAINERS:
- Who have consistently provided and delivered high-quality training programmes to the national workforce.
- Who have adopted the best methods in developing programmes that are aligned with current industry trends.
TRAINING PROVIDERS
Nominees must achieve one of the following:
- The most active registered training providers from 2020 – July 2022
- Consistently obtained high numbers of training places for 3 years
- Consistently engaged with employers for 3 years.
- Assessed via HRD Training Effectiveness Evaluation (HRD-TEE) from 2020 – July 2022
- Rated 4.0/5 and above; AND
- Rated by more than 1,000 trainees.
2021 – Golden Bull Award
Since 2003, the Golden Bull Award have served as the ultimate award for successful businesses: a crowning glory for years of growth and building innate strength.
The award aims to serve as an effective platform to benchmark successful businesses, inspiring more businesses, both SMEs and corporates, to strive for greater excellence. Excellence is born of a chemistry between perseverance and ideals, virtues embodied by the Golden Bull Award. The nomination select the best by placing emphasis on elimination by process. The award has also come to promote the growth of businesses to contribute to economic prosperity by paying tribute to the efforts of businesses for all their hard-won achievements.
Many of the past recipients of the Golden Bull Award have gone on to become industry leaders and listed entitles. Many of them are today true examples of what the Golden Bull represents: strength and growth.
2019 – Top 10 Company of the Year Award
Awarded by The Top 10 of Malaysia, it is an English language magazine owned and published by RHA Media Sdn Bhd. The acronym ‘RHA’ is derived from the words, ‘Research House of Asia’. The magazine is all about celebrating beautiful stories of successful businesses, people, and inspiring lifestyles across the entire fabric of Malaysian life.
