RISE4WRD: Digital Transformation Program for SMEs in Industry 4.0

What is RISE4WRD?

RISE4WRD is a program designed to support Malaysia’s agenda in strengthening Industry 4.0 (IR 4.0). It helps companies in the manufacturing and related service sectors adopt digital technology, improve operational efficiency, and develop a highly skilled workforce.

How the RISE4WRD Program Supports SMEs in Industry 4.0

This program is targeted at SMEs in the manufacturing and related service sectors that want to accelerate their digital transformation. 

Eligible companies must meet the following criteria:

🔹 Registered with HRD Corp with no outstanding levy payments
🔹 Have annual sales between RM300,000 and RM50 million or 5 to 200 employees
🔹 At least 60% local equity ownership
🔹 Have been in operation for at least 36 months
🔹 Possess a valid business license or Manufacturing License (ML).

For employees, they must be full-time employees of an SME in the manufacturing or related service sector and Malaysian citizens.
