INTRODUCTION FOR ISO 9001:2015 & IATF16949:2016 QMS AWARENESS & INTRODUCTION TRAINING
The International Organization for Standardization has officially released the upgraded ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System version in September 2015 followed by TS16949:2009 into IATF16949:2016 in October. Organizations have to conform to these new changes and revision in QMS awareness & introduction to sustain their accreditation by the certification body.
The ISO 9001 Quality Management System is the world’s most popular quality improvement standard, with over one million certified organizations in 180 countries around the globe. It is the only standard in the 9000 family of standards published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) that can be used for the purpose of conformity assessment. ISO 9001 also serves as the basis for many other important sector-specific standards, as well as widely used management system standards such as OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001.
IATF 16949:2016 is the global technical specification and quality management standard for the automotive industry based on ISO 9001:2015. It is designed to be used in conjunction with ISO 9001:2015, and contains supplemental requirements specific to the automotive industry rather than
being a stand-alone QMS.
The new standard emphasis on the process approach principles and has also included risk–based thinking to ensure preventive and mitigating activities are part of the system to enhance customer satisfaction, continuous improvement and waste reduction. This course provides clear understanding of the new requirements and get ready for certification session.
