INTRODUCTION FOR EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COURSE (FOR TRUCK DRIVER)
This program aims to equip trained drivers with essential emergency management skills to handle various emergency situations effectively. Participants will learn how to assess and respond to hazardous conditions, perform emergency procedures, and provide first aid to injured victims.
LEARNING OBJECTIVE
- Enhance drivers’ sense of responsibility and commitment toward company assets.
- Increase awareness of safety measures and the importance of driver training.

TRAINING DETAILS
- Maximum Participants: 20 per session
- Pre-requisites:
- Participants must hold a valid driving license.
- Participants must be physically fit to attend both classroom and practical sessions.
FACILITY REQUIREMENTS
Indoor Classroom (Theory Session)
The company must provide:
- A training room with a classroom setup
- LCD projector
- Whiteboard & flipchart
- Coffee breaks for trainers and participants
Outdoor Facility (Practical Session)
The company must provide:
- 2 units of 9 kg fire extinguishers
- A complete first aid kit
- 1 unit of a vehicle for the demo practical session
COURSE CONTENTS
Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Session 1: Emergency Management (Theory)
- Identifying hazardous conditions while driving
- HIRARC: Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control
Session 2: Demo Session A (Practical Demonstration)
- Trip planning and preparation
- Vehicle inspection and maintenance
- Ergonomic seating position and cockpit adjustments
- Vehicle emergency management procedures
- Introduction and usage of 7 Tools ICOP (Mandatory Tools)
Session 3: Demo Practical Session B (Hands-On Training)
- Types and usage of fire extinguishers
- Wind techniques and other emergency response methods
- First aid for whiplash injuries
- Victim management procedure
