TRAINING OBJECTIVE FOR PURCHASE PART ANALYSIS
The training program was design with the following key objectives of learning to the participants:-
- Deliver the different technique in evaluating quotation from vendor before purchase
- Deliver understanding and knowledge on the difference between price and cost analysis
- Define the term Total Cost of Ownership and how price and cost analysis will determine this Cost Ownership model
- Bring awareness to participant on Fixed Price contract with Economic Price Adjustment (FP-EPA)
- Introduce the concept of “Should Costing” mode of evaluating supplier quotation
- Introduce method of monitoring Forex exchange losses and gain in purchasing
- Bring in the knowledge in building Purchase price index for monitoring
COURSE OBJECTIVES
By the end of the 2 days interactive session, the learning curve achieve will enable the following:-
- UNDERSTAND the various method to carry out purchasing analysis
- APPRAISE and DISTINGUISH the different between cost and price analysis
- DEVELOP plan of action to ensure all suppliers quotation supply all relevant information in order to ease the process of price analysis
- CONDUCT “Should costing” in evaluating supplier quotation, Purchase price Index, and Forex exchange tabulation.
- ABLE to determine the right cost to purchase with the Total Cost of Ownership model
