Mobile Videography & Editing for Social Media

Mobile Videography Training is a hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop that teaches participants how to plan, shoot, and edit professional-looking short-form videos using only their smartphones and CapCut. A hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop that teaches participants how to plan, shoot, and edit professional-looking short-form videos using only their smartphones using CapCut. No expensive equipment required. By end of day, every participant produces a completed, social-media-ready video.

Through this Mobile Videography Training, participants will gain practical skills to create engaging social media videos suitable for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

Course Objectives

By the end of this Mobile Videography Training workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Apply smartphone camera settings and shooting techniques to produce clear, stable, and well-lit footage

  • Capture shot types including talking-head and B-roll footage

  • Record clean audio using basic equipment

  • Edit a short-form video in CapCut from raw footage to finished output

  • Export and prepare videos correctly for social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
