INTRODUCTION MACHINE AND ELECTRICAL SAFETY AWARENESS PROGRAM

A Machine and Electrical Safety course in Malaysia aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to identify, assess, and mitigate electrical hazards in the workplace. These courses cover topics like understanding electrical principles, recognizing hazards, implementing safety procedures (including Lockout/Tagout), and complying with relevant legislation. The goal is to create a safer working environment by preventing electrical accidents, injuries, and even fatalities.

LEARNING OBJECTIVE

Participants will be able to;

  • Identify common hazards associated with machinery and electrical systems.
  • Understand safety standards and legal requirements (e.g., OSHA, ST, IEC, MS & ISO).
  • Apply safe work practices when operating or servicing machines and electrical equipment.
  • Implement proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Recognize the importance of maintenance, guarding, and PPE.

METHODOLOGY

Discussion, Explanation, Demonstration, and Practical Exercise.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
