Lifting Supervisor Training (Mobile Crane)

The Lifting Supervisor training will equip  the Lifting Supervisor with competences that will permit him to adequately implement the lift plan and ensure that lifting is carried out exactly as stated in the method statement. Upon completing the training participants will be competently trained as a lifting supervisor with adequate safety knowledge and skills to supervise all lifting operations in accordance with the lifting plan.

Course Objectives

The objectives of the training are:

  • To improve safety at the workplace.

  • To develop talented and skilled workers by knowing the actual lifting devices and gears for the lifting operation to be done.

  • To improve productivities.

  • To work as a team.

  • To be able to monitor the hazard and risk that occurs during operation.

  • To be able to carry out a Lifting Plan.

 

Course Details

Duration of Training

2 days.

Number of Participants

Maximum 10 pax per training.

Methodology of Training

  • Training will be conducted both through theory and practical methods, including presentations, discussions, and video shows.

  • On the second day, all participants are required to carry out practical activities on the actual machine, covering pre and operational inspection, as well as controlling the load swing, and rigging and slinging procedures.

Day 2

  1. Basic Structure of mobile crane, Rigging and Slinging Methods and barrier

  2. Lifting Accidents and Emergency Response

  3. Hirarc on crane operation…

  4. Four rules of safe and proficient crane operation.

  5. Basic signaling procedure on crane operation.

  6. Precise spotting of load and proper lifting procedure

  7. Proper technique of controlling load swing.

  8. Practical and carry out the actual activities on crane operation
