INTRODUCTION FOR COMPLIANCE TO ACT & REGULATIONS UNDER OSHA 1994, FMA 1967 & EQA 1974
The 2 days training on Occupational Safety and Health 1994,Factories and Machinery Act 1967 and Environment Quality Act 1974 are designed for all level of Management and Workers. It is now mandatory for Employers to comply with the minimum Legal Occupational Safety, Health & Environment Standards and requirements stipulated in these three ACTS. By understanding and implementing the various provisions of these Acts, employers can now initiate their OSHE programmes to control workplace accidents and pollution.
This course introduces employers to the principles and theory involved in two kinds of management systems the occupational health and safety management system (OHSMS) and the environmental management system (EMS)
COURSE OBJECTIVES
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Understand the legislative requirement and its liabilities under OSHA 1994.
- Understand of FMA 1967 “Machinery”, their registration and other legal requirements.
- Understand the legislative requirement and its liabilities under FMA 1974.
- Understand the scope of OSH and the Environment (OSHE) in the organization.
