INTRODUCTION CLASS REGULATIONS 2013 COMPLIANCE TRAINING
The CLASS Regulations 2013 (Classification, Labelling and Safety Data Sheet of Hazardous Chemicals Regulations) were enacted in Malaysia under OSHA 1994. They align Malaysia’s system with the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) for classification and labelling of chemicals to ensure safe use, transport, and management of hazardous chemicals at the workplace. Therefore, this one-day training will enhance better knowledge in chemical management and reduce accidents, injuries, illnesses, and environmental damage caused by hazardous chemicals.
This program is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to comply with the legal requirements of CLASS 2013 and to implement proper classification and labelling procedures in their respective organizations. It is particularly relevant to industries involved in manufacturing, importing, distributing, or using hazardous chemicals. Participants will gain not only technical understanding but also the ability to apply the CLASS framework effectively in their daily operations.
