INTRODUCTION FOR AGILE LEADERSHIP
As organizations shift toward greater agility, leadership must evolve beyond command-and-control to empower, enable, and engage. This 1-day Agile Leadership program builds on the foundational understanding of Agile principles to equip leaders with the mindset and capabilities required to lead in dynamic, adaptive environments. Participants will explore the role of leaders in fostering Agile culture, enabling high-performing teams, and navigating the complexities of change. Through interactive exercises and real-world scenarios, they will learn how to create psychological safety, encourage experimentation, and lead with purpose in Agile settings.

COURSE OUTLINE
Module 1: Rethinking Leadership in the Age of Agility
This module challenges traditional leadership mindsets and introduces the principles of Agile leadership. Participants will explore how leadership needs to evolve in response to rapid change, complexity, and empowered teams. They will gain a foundational understanding of how Agile leaders think, behave, and enable others.
Module 2: Leading with Purpose, Values & Vision
Participants will learn how to anchor leadership in purpose and values that support agility. They’ll work through how vision-setting and value alignment help guide teams through uncertainty and change. The takeaway is a clear framework for leading with intention in dynamic environments.
Module 3: Empowering Teams & Creating Psychological Safety
This session focuses on enabling team autonomy and fostering an environment where people feel safe to speak up, experiment, and grow. Participants will understand the leadership behaviours that support psychological safety and high team performance in Agile cultures.
Module 4: Decision-Making & Adaptability in Complexity
Participants will examine how Agile leaders make decisions in uncertain and fast-moving contexts. They will explore models like the Cynefin framework to improve their ability to diagnose situations and adapt their leadership style accordingly. The key learning is how to lead effectively through ambiguity and complexity.
Module 5: Enabling Continuous Learning & Agile Culture
This final module explores how leaders can support learning and innovation within their teams. Participants will identify ways to foster experimentation, feedback loops, and continuous improvement. They will leave with practical ideas to cultivate an Agile culture that grows with the organization.
