OTC Training Centre Sdn Bhd proudly received the Certification of Appreciation from HRD Corp. This recognition highlights our active role in fostering human capital development initiatives throughout 2022 at the National Human Capital Conference & Exhibition (NHCCE). HRD Corp distributed this award to training providers and large employers across the manufacturing, service, and mining & quarrying sectors, as well as small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
By 2022, NHCCE had become an iconic event. HRD Corp organized NHCCE 2023 – Northern Region in a grander setting. The event took place from May 31 to June 1, 2023, at the Setia SPICE Convention Centre in Bayan Lepas. HRD Corp chose Penang as the venue due to its economic transformation, particularly the establishment of the Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone.
The theme of the event, ‘HR 5.0: Evolution in Human Resource Development’, explored the impact of the new industrial revolution on human resources. HRD Corp also used this opportunity to appreciate the enterprises that supported their initiatives throughout the year. During the Appreciation Night, which served as the closing ceremony, awards were given to those who made significant contributions in the field.
Introduced in 2001, the HRD Awards are the highest recognition for HR talents and industry leaders in Malaysia. These awards are presented by the Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp) and endorsed by the Ministry of Human Resources. They honor registered employers, training providers, and trainers who lead in human capital innovation and transformation.
Known as Malaysia’s most prestigious HR accolade, the HRD Awards feature four categories. This year, there are 34 potential winners across these categories.
The year 2022 marks the 20th anniversary of this annual celebration, recognizing the best in human capital development. We are proud to share this historic milestone with some of Malaysia’s most prominent leaders and reputable organizations.
