INTRODUCTION FOR VDA 6.3 Process Audit
This 2-day course is designed with the basics for performing process audits according to VDA 6.3 (2023), considering the process-oriented approach and customer specific requirements for comprehensive application in the automotive industry.
VDA 6.3 has been widely used and mandated by certain vehicle makers within the German Automotive supply chain and being specified as their Customer Specific Requirements for implementation.
This course will be adequate to provide the delegates with the knowledge of understanding the standard on audit requirement, understanding and interpretation of the VDA 6.3 questionnaires from P1 to P7. It will be very useful for any organization in preparation of VDA 6.3 to be audited by their customers. In additional, it will be helpful for the organization to conduct an internal audit or perform the self-assessment according to VDA 6.3 Process Audit standard clauses requirement which has frequently been requested by customers. Organization can apply this standard for the purpose of qualifying their new potential suppliers or regular 2nd party audit to the existing suppliers

COURSE OUTLINE
The course covers tutorials, discussions, case study and facilitated activities on the following:
- General requirements and fundamental principles of VDA 6.3 (2023).
- Know how to use and perform the risk analysis in a technically correct manner.
- Be able to apply the questionnaire in practice using the process elements (P1-P7).
- Know how to identify the relevant risks using the process audit, to point out potentials and ensure a reliable evaluation.
- Be able to obtain and explain a comparable result on the basis of the evaluation system and perform process audits both internally and at suppliers’ locations independently and in a technically correct manner.
