This course is designed to trainees with the knowledge to operate the Pallet Truck and Stacker Truck .Safe operating skills will also be developed

 

COURSE OBJECTIVES

  • At the end of the course, the participant should be able to:
  • Identify the causes and effects of accidents involving Pallet Truck and Stacker Truck
  • State factors which significantly contribute to Pallet Truck and Stacker Truck Operation accidents
  • Conduct daily safety performance and maintenance
  • Inspections on the
  • Explain how to determine the safe working load of Pallet Truck and Stacker Truck
  • Identify what can and cannot be lifted on a Pallet Truck and Stacker Truck
  • describe the term “load centre”
  • Safe operating procedures for staking, parking and picking up loads
  • Operate Pallet Truck and  Stacker Truck safely

As a result of this training course the participants will:
