INTRODUCTION FOR PRACTICAL SOLIDWORKS TRAINING – PART I (BEGINNER)
The SOLIDWORKS software solutions are used by mechanical, electrical, and electronics engineers to form a connected design. The suite of programs is aimed at keeping all engineers in communication and able to respond to design needs or changes. SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD is a complete integrated design solution for rapid creation of parts, assemblies, and 2D drawings. Application-specific tools includes user-friendly for sheet metal, weldments, surfacing, and mould tool & die. All these features makes it easy to deliver best-in-class designs and products.
The SOLIDWORKS software is such a robust and feature rich application that it is impractical to cover every minute detail and aspect of the software and still have the course be a reasonable length.
Therefore, the focus of this course is on the fundamental skills and concepts central to the successful use of the SOLIDWORKS software.
The learner should view the training course manual as a supplement to, not a replacement for.
LEARNING OUTCOME
By the end of this section, participants should be able to:
- Know how to use Solidworks software.
- The used of command keys and the basic measurements.
- Sketching models and extraction of information.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is for new SOLIDWORKS users.
