INTRODUCTION FOR FIRE FIGHTING AND EVACUATION DRILLS

Understand the objective and the principle and chemistry of fire safety training by taking appropriates measures in fire prevention activities and skill to put off incipient fire before a big fires.

This course is also intended to help organisation and employees proactively on planning a complete fire drill with all the resources in the organisation. By the end of the course delegates will know the steps and how to perform a fire drill in the organisation.

 

WHO MUST ATTEND

Fire safety managers, executives, supervisors, members of the in-house fire-fighting team / ERT and OSH committee members and all who need to know about fire safety in the workplace.

 

COURSE METHODOLOGY

This program will be conducted in a class room interactive lectures with case studies, sharing of real-life experiences, topics presentation, discussions, video and workshops. Practical is involved in fire extinguishers exercise   at sites to determine the confident of the participants. By the end of the course delegates will know the steps and how to perform a fire drill in the organisation.

Practical’s also is involved in evacuation drills at sites to determine the effectiveness.

  • DAY 1 FIRE CHEMISTRY & FIRE PREVENTIONS

11:00-12:00 noon Portable Fire Extinguishers

1:00 –   2:00 pm Combating Fire -Inspection
2:00 –   3:00pm  Fire Prevention
3:00 –   3:15pm Tea break
3:15 –   4 :00 pm  Practical training on using ABC and CO2 Fire Extinguisher
4:00 –   5:00pm  Team discussion and presentation

 

  • DAY 2 FIRE EVACUATION AND DRILL EXERCISE
