INTRODUCTION FOR COMPLIANCE TO ACTS AND REGULATIONS UNDER OSHA 1994, FMA 1967 & EQA 1974
Compliance to Act & Regulations Under the Environmental, Safety & Health legislation is developed for XXX Sdn.Bhd. to fulfill the legislative requirement under OSHA 1994, FMA 1967 and EQA 1974. By having knowledge on this EHS regulation in Malaysia legal framework will make the employee and employer understand their roles and duty to protect the environment and keep maintained the safe and healthy workplace. This module was developed in a basic understanding in order to give awareness among employees and employer, particularly those who deal with EHS issues.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
- To understand the general contents of Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) 1994, Factories & Machinery Act (FMA) 1967 and Environmental Quality Act (EQA) 1974 and Other Requirements
- To learn the techniques in relationship between the EHS Legislation with the HIRARC and Environmental Aspect & Impact base on legal register
- To enable the organisation to interpret the law terms used, thus complying with the HSE Laws
- To determine the gaps that have to be closed in order to comply to OSHA 1994, FMA 1967 & EQA 1974
