The purpose of a job interview is to find out whether there is a good fit of skills, experience, and attitude between the interviewee and the organization. This course will give the interviewer tips on preparing for a different interview format, what to expect, and how to hire the right candidate.

Module 2: First Step in the Recruitment Process

Module 3: Preparing for Interview

  • Review the Person & Job Requirements
  • Developing Interview Questions & Expected Answers
  • Getting Consensus on the Rating Scales

 

Module 4: Behavior Assessment (DiSC)

  • Know your own preferred behavior
  • What Influence your Interviewing Style
  • Using the data as a selection tool

 

Day 2: 9:00am – 5:00pm (7 hours)

Module 5: Phone Screening

  • Review Candidate’s CV
  • Prepare phone screening question
  • Let’s Make the First Impression LAST

 

Module 6:  Interviewing Format

  • Behavioral-Based Interview
  • Competency-Based Interview
  • Panel vs Group Interview

 

Module 7: It is Time to Meet!

  • Conducting the Interview
  • Handling different type of candidates
  • Identify the Red Flags

 

Module 8: Post-Interview

  • Selecting the BEST Fits
