INTRODUCTION FOR RoHS & REACH REGULATION AWARENESS

The EU Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS) was updated (recast) intoDirective 2011/65/EU and became national law in each of the EU member states .RoHS has become a CE marking directive, which means that to apply the CE mark to your product, you must have full RoHS documentation included in your Technical File in order to make an EC declaration of conformity. This legislation is intended to address the use of 6 common hazardous materials in specific types of goods in Europe, to help prevent damage to human, animal and plant life during product life and its eventual disposal/processing at end of life.

REACH, the Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of CHemicals, is fundamentally changing the shape of every supply chain within the EU. It affects almost every chemical substance that you manufacture, import or use to make your products and to run your processes.

This RoHS& REACH Regulation Awareness Training  is a start-up program to start for anyone who needs to understand more about their compliance obligations under the RoHS&REACH Regulation. The comprehensive programme provides an introduction to the key elements of the regulation and includes talks covering the implications for manufacturers, importers and users of chemicals and electrical electronic equipments throughout the supply chain. This popular day is the perfect introduction to RoHS&REACH, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and ensure your understanding of the key implications for your business.
