Most of the equipment or machine used electronic technology for transportation, banking, production, entertainment, education and healthcare.

After 2-5 years usage, the equipments will start getting problems because of so many reasons. End User will call the equipment Vendor to diagnose and repair the equipment. Then the vendor will invoice the customer for spare parts or electronic boards replaced. The cost of repair was very expensive due to replace a few boards. The cost of repair can reduce by replace only the faulty board or repair the board by replace the faulty components.

 

Electronic problems identification Troubleshooting and repair technique- Component Level will expose the participants on:

  • Identification electronic discrete component specification based on available information on component body.
  • Testing and measurement of discrete component using Digital Multi Meter , LCR Meter and DC Power Supply
  • Verify the status of component based on data measurement
  • Replace the faulty part according to part specification.

 

By implementation of this technique, we will generates cost saving and reduce maintenance cost by repair the board up to component level. For Production Department, It will increase productivity by reduce repair delay time of production equipment.
